the home section of ST reported a 8 year old boy killed by a lorry by running over his head. to many of us it would have been just another accident that happens everyday, but the mother of the kid was my mum's colleague.

my mum recounted the whole incident to me, from how her colleague ran out of the hospital to the scene, to try to give cpr to her already dead son, to the a&e department where she became hysteric for a moment, to how 6 adrenaline shots did not save him, to how his mother kissed her badly bruised(half his head was crushed) son in the room where they keep all the dead bodies.

i mean, i have not had the experience of having someone close to me pass away, and i hope i never will. but just the thought of this incident, the emotions involved and stuff, i don't know if i'll be able to handle them when the time comes.

life is that fragile, cherish it.
